EnglishEmerson Automation Solution from Mölnlycke Swede, is a prestigious company which belong to IKEA group, was looking for a machine to tap out threading M60 and inner threading with special tap in the end of 2018. They did not want to have a heavy expensive CNC machine, a flexible tapping arm is suitable enough. Thanks internet, they found our dealer in Sweden and DoneCNC finally.
Frankly the customer did not give us more detail information, some picture and some words, but it is enough to let us understanding their needs. We offered 2 structure arms to them, they chose the cheaper and simple 1300 tapping arm. The technological problem is, not only the arm should be strong enough with 1300 N.M torque, but also horizontal tapping, that is difficult and nobody else can do it. Others like thread die, special chucks are easy for us.
54 days later, the customized M60 electric tapping machine has been done and done it well. What is customized for customer?
2.2 kw servo motor drive gear box in 20 r.p.m for M60 holes.
The head is moving vertical and horizontal to tap in both directions.
The arm is flexible enough to move up and down.
