The machine itself consists of a radial arm joint to a tilting arm balanced by means of a pneumatic spring, The head member and the electric motor find themselves at the end of the tilting arm and is adapt to always move at right angle with respect to its working area.
The electric motor is controlled by CNC control panel, with a chuck and each tap is held in its own collets. Each collet has a ratchet clutch; the torque is preset for each size of tap preventing tap breakage. The clutch system will allow blind holes as well as through holes to be tapped.
Through three M8 screws the machine can be fixed to a table or workbench to do tapping and drilling in vertical and horizontal position.
